After two years of detailed camera work and editing a film about life in Mylor Bridge in 2008 is going on sale in time for Christmas.
The film is the work of Penryn Video Editing Club working with Mylor Local History Society and directed by Sheila Ternan and is about people, places and events. Copies will go on sale at a coffee morning on Saturday at the Tremayne Hall when excerpts will be shown.
Hugh Scully introduces the film in tribute to his wife Barbara Dean, the chairman of the history group, who died suddenly in 2009. One of the camera crew, John Watkins, also died during filming.

Webmaster's footnote: The coffee morning mentioned above is actually on Saturday 28 November. Also, Barbara Dean was chairman of the Penryn Video Editing Group, not the Mylor Local History Society.
